Comments:

You know what you are doing - even if you didn't advertise that you are a pro - it shows in the lighting and the composition.

I am a longtime hockey fan (check my profile to understand). These are excellent shots, particularly for the first time. This is a very difficult sport to shoot because things change so rapidly. Nothing else moves from to end end so fast (to get the puck on the goalie's pads is not easy).

I've attempted hockey shots and I'm in awe. Lighting can be tricky - it's usually uniform, but often at each goal, there is added lighting which doesn't necessarily have the same temp as the rest of the arena (it should have, but it's not a law).

I would love to see your tech data on these shots.

When did voluptuous become voluminous?

Thanks Glenn, played around a bit with settings, but most were shot between 2.8 and 4, iso varied between 800 and 1250, depending on the shutter speed I was pushing...Shutter was 1/400th to 1/640th of a sec...lighting was very good for a rink like this...

very nice. I like the one with the puck off the pads. Nice and sharp -- were you shooting thru the glass?

David,

I was shooting through the glass, but they had all been replaced within the last couple of months and were very clean...still lost a couple of otherwise nice shots due to reflections...
