Had to battle extremely strong lighting on this shot but used a Neutral Density Filter to help out. This is a beautiful River up from the Lodge Pole Campground.

Thanks for having a look

Very nice. Must be a very swift river to get that look in just 1/4/s.

Thanks for the compliments _ yes that was some very swift moving water, not the kind you'd wanna get in as it was being feed from snow melt.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Lovely Toney, and like Dimitri, I think that the water colour is the icing on the cake for this shot.

Great shot Toney. The ND really worked well for you and I'll too add how beautiful the water is. Really well done.

Great shot Toney. Great exposure, composition and the color of the water really makes this a special shot. Looks like a painting.

The color of the water blows me away, I really like the line of the river and you have lots of detail/highlights just right. The river breaks apart two spots of foreground interest, the lower left corner and the stand of trees just on the other side, very nice indeed.

I also noticed the color of the water right away. It is just beautiful and the photo of it is just perfect!

I agree, Dimitri. The color of the water was the first thing that jumped out at me. You described it perfectly.
