Don't you just love shooting on sunny days with a perfect overcast of clouds to make the lighting just perfect in nice dry, but not to dry, weather exactly like this? Cuz I know I do!

Looks good, 3200 isn't to bad with the 20D - not ideal of course but works good. Would of loved to see the smash down after the 2nd pic of mud flyin up.

MUD!

Wow, I have yet to shoot a game that muddy. Been in heavier rain, but that was at a stadium with icky astroturf.

Thanks for looking!

How did you keep your gear dry? And how did they know who to tackle?

Great stuff!

Good shots !!!

Games like that were both an absolute blast and sometimes the most aggrivating thing in the world, to play in. Man i miss football.

Awesome shots... I went out tonight and shot my first flag football game (first sports event I've ever shot). Wasn't thrilled with the results, but they came out alright for a first shot..

What focusing method did you use to capture these?

Sweet setting to photograph in. I would have cropped much tighter on the first and last. Let me ask with the others - what did you use to protect your gear?

ACDC, haven't seen you around in a while! Nice images! I just ordered some Kata raingear in case I have to shoot in the rain, but our local HS just put in artificial turf so mud won't be an issue. Great stuff!!!
