Today i did a photoshoot for a friend who is starting up her own makeup business and needed some shots for her portfolio.
Attached are 3 shots i took.. i have many more but these are just 3 i quickly edited and wanted to share.

All pics taken with the 50mm f/1.8 and with some studio lighting i made with a cheap umbrella and a light i got from work..

Some feedback would be great.. what do you think? :D

I like the pictures overall! I only have a little to say about each...

#1 i think is near perfect, but because her eyes have the makeup on them, i'd personally prefer her left eye not to be cut off.

#2 i think is a little too dark on the eye lid, at least to show the makeup

#3 i wonder if it would look better having the right eye in focus...?

-Overall i like them. I really am in no position to judge other peoples work, because i have WAY TOO MUCH to learn still! but then again, its just my opinion of the photos :)

P.S. Much better than i can do! (...for now Muahhaaaahaaaa) :)

He still has one more move.

I think the exposure in the third is perfect, but it doesn't highlight the makeup as well as the first two compositions. The highlights take away from the make up in the first two for me.
