Nice shoots Gavin. First I was wondering how nice light you had, but then I checked data and noticed I'm still more lucky then you. I'm getting 1/500, f2.8 to 3.2 at iso 800 in here :p Yesterday was start of Euroleague for me, which means next few months I will be shooting bunch of basketball too... next to skiing which is finally starting :)

Why is it I see no photos? On some threads I see no photos, while on others I see everything. Occassionally I see the "red x" box, but even when I do, clicking "Show Picture" only works about half the time.

I see no pictures on this thread... Anyone know why this is occurring?

It's happened to me a few times too.

Check your firewall or privacy service - I have Mcafee and I have to turn off the privacy service to view the pics.

Logging on "officially" helps too :D

Hoonga - Thanks for the tip, but I've tried that and it doesn't help. I have begun to take notice of when this is happening. One thing I have noticed is that I can't see an of gmen's photos on any of his threads. But, when I look at the board from home I can see them just fine.

I have learned that my office has some servers blocked as "unsafe" and absolutely nothing is allowed through from those servers. gmen must have his pics on one of those... that's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Thanks Primoz...I'd love to shoot at ISO800 indoors in the UK...it just doesn't seem possible

The wide angle shot was with the 15mm f/2.8FE... looking at the EXIF I was at 1/160s, f/3.5, ISO1000

It was simply shot with a 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens.

Great shots! I love the exposure on these.

If you had to choose between the 85mm and the 135mm, which would you pick for basketball? I'm trying to decide between the two for my next lens for basketball and volleyball.

Hi montanafan...

If I was selecting one lens, I'd go with the 85mm f/1.8 - it's a great all round lens for hoops and (having seen the results of others here) volleyball as well.
