Today was the Premier Rally in north notts - and a great day it was for it too.
I did a few positions round the Blidworth Woods stage.

Unfortunatly we had a lenghy stoppage about an hour in and then there was an accident with a spectator less than 20 minutes later (last I heard no serious injuries with the spectator) so I didn't see the end of the stage

Here are a few picked out to share. Only done rallying twice now so go easy!
Oh, and I really like the Mk1 & Mk2 Escorts - hard not to do a post just of them!)

Used 20D and 120-300 F2.8. Shutter speed 1/320 or 1/250 and ISO creeping up to 1600 by day end.

C&C Very welcome - I want to do better next year

Oh, and it was nice to meet another POTN'er - good chatting to you Gsgary

edit: forgot to add the link to the rest

If in doubt, I shut up...

Gear: 40D, 12-24mm AT-X Pro, 17-85mm, Sigma 150mm Macro Sigma 100-300 F4, 550EX, other stuff that probably helps me on my way.

Niceley exposed and sharp images. I really like shot 3 which looks as though you have taken from a slightly lower angle giving the car more presence. I like the attidude of the car also.

Thanks for the compliments :)
I liked finding spots where I could get low down - got some downright wierd looks though. Plus there are a lot of medium sized pebbles on the track. I stopped getting down low after a few had bounced off my shoulders & skull (got the camera out of the way though - priorities!)!

You should have heard me cursing the light most of the time I was there
Thanks :) I'm just glad they turned out OK.
