In deference to those of you who are suffering from the winter blues, I have taken these in black & white, so you won't be tormented by the turquoise waters and blue skies
I was trying out angles, and would appreciate C&C:

I went back and forth looking at both of them and think I favor the first one. You can see the whole front of one angel and the whole back of the other and I also like the shading in it. Bet they look great in color too! CarolP

The b/w works GREAT with the lighting at the time. The sky really stands out, too. - 5D & 60D (x2), EFS 10-22, EF 17-40L, EF 50 f1.4, EF 24-105L, EF 100-400 L IS

Oct 30, 2006 09:16 | #9 Thanks everyone - I have plenty of opportunity to photograph them again and get the dome of the gazebo in - they are at Sandals Resort, where I go every Friday. Can't show you a colour version, I shot these in B&W mode. But I do have colour images of the angels in my gallery, here's a link to one of them: Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop. -Ansel Adams
