This is the main barn at a local farm that does a lot of "U-pick" (apples, blueberries, pumpkins). It is called Lariland Farms, and is located in Lisbon, Maryland. We were out buying pumpkings for Halloween.

Picture info: ISO 100, 18-55mm kit les set at 22mm, f/3.5, 1/400 sec. w/polorizing lens.

Some post processing, but this shot was already quite rich in color.

C&C on PP, compostion, etc.

It looks a little soft Ed. Not sure if it's out of focus or just from the resizing, etc. I've learned recently that f/11 is about as closed down as I can shoot with my 1.6x crop 10D due to diffraction. I'm not sure if that contributed but it's something to consider in the future.

As far as composition goes, to me, it's a bit of a tight crop. Getting more of the barn would work better for me.

Just my $0.02.
