Does anyone have a link to any lens reviews that address telephoto lens performance with teleconverters. I'm curious what a tc does to the MTF ratings.

If you treat yourself to Canon Lens Work III you can have all of the Canon MTF curves for all their current lenses with and without the Extenders.
It's a very informative book on the whole lens range with example photos. too. Well recommended.
