Just went to the mall parking deck today to shoot my friends car. I had noise at 1600 so this is the best i could get...C&C very welcome

number #3 FTW!! if you have a tripod you can lower your ISO and go with a much slower shutter.

yeah i had my tripod ready to do that exact same thing..and i forgot the little mount to put it on the top of the tripod at home. i felt like a retard.

in #1 shot the headlight on the right (looking from this angle) looks all wrong, like something has been left on the bonnet
( I think 'bonnet' is called 'hood' over in the states, not sure in the UK)

I've found garage shots are very difficult to pull off. 3 would be a bit better, obviously if it wasn't so grainy, but if you rotated it about 3 degree to the right.

yeah the grain is a very bad part of these pictures, but its best i could do with the lighting i had. anyway im not sure what you mean marie? like under the headlight?

doh!!! that's why i keep my quick release on my tripod and not with my camera, that way if i forget one, i forget the other.

3 is great to my mind composition wise and I think is also works with the grain but if you have the chance take the same shot again with low ISO and I'm sure you'd be even more pleased with the result

just the angle of the lamp seems bigger and slightly awkward towards the other lamp
you know when something is closer to the camera it can look distorted so we have to position ourselves and take the shot at a different angle .
maybe thats all it needs
