These are great, #4 and #5 are my favourite I could see them in a frame in someones house. I'm just starting to take an interest in portrait photography, what equpiment/settings did you use? Any flash or studio equpiment?

Thanks
Rachel

Thanks Rachel, Those two indoor shoots I use a strobe with umbrella on the right and a strobe soft box to the lower left. Outdoor shots are taken in RAW format during a windy and cloudy day and color temp was tweak out in Adobe Lightroom Beta to make it warmer.

Dooglla made it to my post!!! Thanks man. My wife went with me to the shoot and at one point she said i was shaking handing her the sekonic meter... ouch! Hope the client didn't see that. I was really nervious for some reason. I guess it's too much reading and not enough hand on experience. haha

I'm tinkering with your 3 lights setup you sent me. I should have something to show soon.

Thanks again!

Some are real nice, shame the backgrounds are in focus. IMHO it is a real detractor to the subjects. The whites seem a tad blown on my studio set and lacking a bit of contrast. Lovely family and well done all in all.

Thanks Dante - You're right about #1... If they pick that one for the large wall print, I have to tinker with the RAW file some more. I have so much to learn still.
