ok ive had my camera a while but ive hardly used it. this is the first time ive ever used spot metering at least i think ist spot its the second 1 down on the 350d. i also used 1600 iso cuz i was playing about with iso to see what difference it made last time i touched camera and forgot it was on 1600 guess that may not be a bad thing as in made shutter speed faster. ok what could i have done different and is this anygood?
anyway its my desktop wallpaper i liked it:)

I think the shot is fine. Nice looking bird, but what is it? :)

Not a bad pose here KilF but you can tell that the ISO is very high as the whole shot looks grainy. You may not have had time to change your ISO but I would definitely keep it at 400 or lower whenever possible.

You have a nice camera but the way you will really get familar it and improve your shots is with practice. Get out and enjoy it. ;)

I found myself forgetting I had set mine to 1600. To break myself of that, I got in the habit of setting it to 100 at the end of the day, before it went into the bag for a nap.

Some of things we do... :D
