Does anyone know of a company that has or builds RV/Trailers that can be used to work out of. I am looking to take my business on the road and need a trailer that can I can set up some monitors for viewing photos and a little place in the back to live in.

I am a sports photographer and I want to take this to events and use it as an office, viewing and order area and have a place to sleep. I have seen this type of set up before at some big sporting events but I have looked on the internet and do not see anything like what I am looking for. I know I can get a trailer and custom build something but I am looking for something already built and some design layouts.

I would suspect that one would probably have to get a custom made trailer for this type of thing. At least for the interior of the trailer at the very least.

Have a look at this site (external link) They have a series of shots of their trailer and its setup. You could perhaps contact them to see the process they went through. As a side note, I don't know if I would want to plaster all over it that it contains expensive photo equipment, I think it is inviting trouble but that is just my opinion. You have to balance that with the promotional value to it.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Most of the people that do this seem to have built their own.

Personally, I can't see anything there that can't be done with some plywood and paint in a couple of weekends.

He also has links to the company that built it for him.

Also check out some of the new "Toy Boxes" that a lot of the popular RV manufactures are making. It seems they could be converted to your situation for less money than a special built trailer.

Thanks for everyones commments. I have looked at the links and checked out some of the trailers. I think most of you are correct in that I could build one but if I can find a used one that already has what Im looking for that woudl be a better deal. Maybe.

There is quite a following of geeks that use converted airstreams as their offices.
