Two 2GB, or One 4GB

What is better between getting one 4GB Extreme III, or two 2GB extreme III.
Why do you feel this way?

Does anyone else think that it's strange that the above question got three pages of responses? (Oops I made it four!)

One thing to consider may be how many different photo locations on one card.

Let's say you are going to cover a couple car shows - the first one wasn't as good or didn't have as many money shots. You can separate which card at which location without downloading it all.

I have a pretty fast duo core notebook and it still takes a good few minutes to transfer 2 gig of images to the computer.

I suppose if the whole 4 gig is on one shoot - it won't matter much...

I like the 4 GB. Sandisk is relaible and also a 4 GB card fits nicely on a DVD for archival purposes.

I use 4 GB, since RAW+small on the 5Deats up anything smaller too fast. The 2 GB cards are in the 20D.
