Awesome shot Peachman and a damn good cause too. Last summer at my son's school fete I took a picture of a downs kid which is up in my 'People' Gallery. One of my favourite pictures of all time.

Good work.

Fantastic shot Peachman! I love the colours and the sharpness. Goes to show; there's nothing "lowly" about the 75-300. (There better not be; I plan on getting one next year.)

I might suggest you include the owner of the hand doing the face painting though. Kinda creepy seeing this bodyless hand hovering around in front of Charlie's face.

Wonderful shot, Peachy...and good point.
I get so frustrated trying to get my milky white grandson's skin not to look so translucent, especially when I use a flash.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Incredible shot. My grandson is blond and has very pale skin. I have trouble with his shots looking soft too so I know what you mean.

Thanks Meaty....sorry to creep you out but this shot was just about the face and skin tones...I have lots of shots with the face painter and her interaction with the kids...but as they say "that's another story !";)

Thanks Madam M...not much to be done other than try and use incidental lighting...it helps to work with shadows for form rather than color tones in these cases (IMHO)
