Well this is a picture that my dad had taken of an elk, but I played around with it in Photoshop. It was lighter/brighter in the original. So I guess I made it appear more to be a silhouette and thought it looked neater with him bugling.

good shot. have you tried burning out the lighter areas around his shoulder and upper back?

Ok I did that a bit, but then it looked weird, so I cropped the rest of his back off...and used a lighting effect to make the background brighter. Maybe that helps?
