Beautifully composed shot Scott and the artist certainly has all the gear. I have to admit it though, that though the scenery is the first thing that catches my attention, I'm still always drawn to an artist at his work.

Thanks for the comments Tony & Dimitri. No I didnt get a shot of his view, because as you can see I would have needed to be very intrusive to do so (he was very near the edge of the cliff) and didnt want to bother him! I think I have just about every other view of the beaches in La Jolla though :D
