My parents are long gone so I am home alone today.
Had my coffee (Starbucks Morning Blend) and a bowl of bran cereal with goat milk. So, I am ready for action....except I am really clueless as to what that should be.

hey Petey.. i'm sorry your parents left you alone.. are you old enough to be left in the house by yourself?.. stay away from light sockets and the stove. Oh and don't answer the door for strangers and if somebody calls always say that your mom is busy but she is home with you....

good mornin' ... and how are you?

This sucks worse than a Hoover......had a list of poll options all prepared....then V Bulletin tells me that it's all gone because 5 minutes have expired. Computers are sometimes less than helpful:cry:

Left home alone and nothing to do. I would go in the garage and sort out the junk. Okay, wouldn't do that if someone paid me $1000, but there's always sorting through your albums. That shouldn't be too painful.

Too many images.....almost irretreavable at this point.

Eh, perhaps I can try to find Conduck or Dante Kinglet and thump a bit on them ?:D
Intensify my courtship of goddess Claire ?
Go to the G&N forum and do some recreational critiquing ?
Get a job in Sweden (physical &mental presence at the workplace is optional there, as I understand)
Explore benefits of Mathadone vs. Mescaline to my Photography art ?
Do some substance-free photography (Nah....I am a collector, I do not have to waste my time on that any more....nothing to prove nor gain.)

Maybe I'll just buy another lens....that's always fun.

Hey, I got plenty for you to do.

My top 10 list of things for Petkal to do:

10. Go to my post in People: Hair, Long Beautiful Hair, and bump it. It makes my daughter happy.

9. Find any other good posts of mine and give them a bump too.

8. Have my "Dolt" moniker removed so I can command the respect I don't deserve around here.

7. Give me your poor, your tired, your hungry and unused mass of lenses so I can sell them and get the 300 f2.8.

6. Come to New York. I'll treat you to Chinese food in the real Chinatown, and you can give me lessons in photography in return.

(Are you exhausted yet?)

5. Go to Bubba's diner and take pictures of Dante crying over the loss of his baby the 1DsMKII.

4. Take another picture of a squirrel.

3. Call the child welfare authorities and complain that you're a latch-key kid; that your parents have left you unattended and that you're about to clean your lenses with lye.

2. Take a picture of a duck

And the number 1 thing Baby Petey should do to alleviate his boredom:

Fill it in, folks.

You need to find 26 objects in your house and take still-life shots of them.

Start with an Apple and work your way through to the Zither...

That should occupy you for a little while...
