thanks for your comments, I'm trying to get the hang of black and white conversion, any comments/advise would be gratefully received.

How did you do this BW conversion?... so far I think it looks better than the two I tried, channel mixer and Lab conversion!

BTW... perfect title for this little fella. What a cutie!

haha, i was waiting for that "extra shot" there! Great shot. i actuall preffer the 2nd one in all B&W. Great job capturing his blue eyes in #1

As far as I can remember I just desaturated and then played around with curves and levels.
