I like the second best. Her look is more natural than the first one. In the first one, she doesn't seem to happy.

I agree with Art. The second she is more relaxed, and seems interested, while the first one almost projects an image of I rather be elsewhere doing other things rather than sit here and be photographed.

She has a variety of looks. I have plenty of her smiling. Don't worry about her overall not being happy, she was :)

I like the 1st one much better. Her pose, in the 2nd one, has a very un feminine pose of her arm and the other hand is cut in half. I agree that she doesn't have a pleasant expression but it's still a superior image. On both, her arm is brighter than her face so gobos & reflectors could have helped.

I too like the 2nd shot better than the 1st on the grounds that she doesn't seem too happy.

I like the 2nd better than the 1st as well but they are both nice. I love photos that are closer to being candid.
