I just had a new toy delivered, the new Apple iPod Shuffle. Isn’t it a beauty? It looks to be the same size as the old iPod remote was :) and this is the whole player!

Thought I would take a few shots of it before I start using it.

Those MP3's are so small now, I'm afraid I'll lose mine. I have a small SONY one and it is misplaced on a regular basis.

Yes, that's a laser engraving that I had added in the online-store.

It’s 1GB only, which is a pity. I think 2GB would have been great, but I can live with 1GB. The sound seems pretty good. Even though it is very tiny, the build quality is quite good. And I love the clip on the backside, which makes it so easy to use.

When I’ve borrowed my fiancées iPod Mini before, I never knew where I should put the player. One doesn’t always have the suitable pockets :)

For size comparison, here is the old iPod Mini and the brand new iPod Shuffle.

haha thats nice. im glad they went back to the mini design for the new nano and shuffle. i still kept my mini when i got my new 30gig just because of how well built the little thing is. since i already have the color screen and whatnot on the 30 ill probably just keep it for workouts ect where i dont need a brick strapped to my arm haha.

I really think I'll start using my shuffle when I go out to photograph. Especially in the city, listening to music does help you stay in your own "world" and keep you in the right mood. Maybe one should fasten the shuttle's clip to the camera strap :)

Awesome idea!!! And the 'own world' thing makes more sense that you would believe...artistic inspiration music is!!

After using it for some days, I must say I think it is just the right size. I shouldn't be smaller, but it doesn't need to be larger either :)
