Edit: didn't realize your photo was from Seattle. I took mine in Washington, D.C. Apparently there're a few of those around the states...

Not at all, he was not allowed to ate it all... no not even on his 1st birthday

My sister and her husband were kind enough to to pose for me. RAW > DPP > Photoshopery...

nah, if you wont sell the 15-85 (seems a very nice lens as a walk arround) should get a really fast prime for low light. Check the 28 1.8, 30 1.4 (sigma), 35 2.0 or 35 1.4L

Try the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Most 15-85mm owners I know have one in their bag.

Consider a flash.

IS and fast glass are wonderful - but if you are shooting anything that moves, or need more than a couple inches DoF you will need to add light.

Come on folks this is a great and versatile lens. Yes the quality is L. If you are not getting that you are doing something wrong or your equipment needs a checkup!

f/2.8 isn't that bright, if you know you need a low light lens get a prime.

I took this a couple of years ago in Bonaparte, Iowa.
We've had so much snow here that I'm going through some old pictures while I wait for Spring to get here.

Those two images do not really look anything like something from L glass. The first one isn't very sharp at all.
