Does this thing gets moved around? I saw it in a different setting this summer.

Edit: didn't realize your photo was from Seattle. I took mine in Washington, D.C. Apparently there're a few of those around the states...

Isn't one of the nice things about a photo, is that it's worth somewhere close to a thousand words?

Hi guys,

I am actually looking for a lens that I could use in low light conditions instead of my 15-85mm. Do you think this one might be a good alternative? Or should I buy the 7D for its high ISO abilities?

Thanks!

nah, if you wont sell the 15-85 (seems a very nice lens as a walk arround) should get a really fast prime for low light. Check the 28 1.8, 30 1.4 (sigma), 35 2.0 or 35 1.4L

Try the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 Most 15-85mm owners I know have one in their bag.

Consider a flash.

IS and fast glass are wonderful - but if you are shooting anything that moves, or need more than a couple inches DoF you will need to add light.

Come on folks this is a great and versatile lens. Yes the quality is L. If you are not getting that you are doing something wrong or your equipment needs a checkup!

f/2.8 isn't that bright, if you know you need a low light lens get a prime.

The Olde Library.
I took this a couple of years ago in Bonaparte, Iowa.
We've had so much snow here that I'm going through some old pictures while I wait for Spring to get here.

Those two images do not really look anything like something from L glass. The first one isn't very sharp at all.
