The area around this body of water in the middle of a bog is such a unique place to walk. The first think I did was put on a pair of knee high boots so I wouldn't get to wet but to my surprise it was fairly dry and spongy. It feels as though your walking on a soft mattress or water bed.

Hope you like it.

Great colours and light!

I would have liked to see a bit more of the foreground piece of land though... Aside from that tiny detail I think it's perfect!

Yes, I've decided to take a different approach to posting images, seems to be working out alright.

Thank you montreal, I wanted more FG but I couldn't back up any further or I'd be over my knees in water

Thanks drparker, had to wait about 45 mins for the breeze to die down enough to capture a reflection.

Fantastic shot Frank. The blue sky is incredible (CPL?) as is the still water, reflections and the colors. Great foreground interest too.

This one is absolutely stunning, Frank! The lighting on the bog is fantastic! What time of day was it?
