i set my camera up on a tripod and aimed it at a certain scene. i then set my camera on a self timer and took pictures of myself in different places. in photoshop i opened up all the pictures and layered each picture on top of each other while using the eraser to part of the background to reveal myself from the other pictures. :)

very good, especially for first time. only noticed two things that could possibly be fixed (i'm new to this too so..) is that you are kind of transparent on the far right, can see the garage through you. and something is distracting on the far left, middle. dono what it is.

great tho!

I figured te transparent self was on purpose, I would clone out the thing on the left tho.

Great shot using a very dramatic style. Way back when I was in high school I took some fun double exposure shots with a film camera -- you have to pay a lot of attention to the lighting, camera movement, and of course the technical aspects like controlling the shutter, winding the camera (remember how tedious that was?;) ), making sure not to move it.

I really like the way you pieced it together, kept the lighting constant, and intentionally put your ghost image standing on the walkway. Because of the wide angle used, the shot may be more effective if it's enlarged (maybe poster sized) so people can tell they're all the same person. The setting (houses in the background) doesn't do much for me...I think it detracts from the contemplative poses. I'm new to critiquing shots, but that's my take on it.

Again, great technique, creative and very well executed in the post processing. Maybe try something (in photoshop or in a different environment) to make it even more dramatic.

All the best,
Joe

p.s. thanks for giving me some creative ideas!
