I began taking sports images this year of elementary football. I offered the images to parents for $2.00 a shot. The images are full res. on CD so they can make as many copies as they want. Any comments or tips on these shots is very welcome, and also do the views think these images are worth $2.00 each. Thanks and have a great day.

You will do much better if you can print them on site. Some parents will buy the CD's but then they will have to get them printed somewhere. Yes its easy at The WalMart, but still an extra step.

I have done similar deals at swim meets and sell 5x7's for $6.00 and we are selling the entire time, your best bet is to find a way to have the parents preview the photos - but the thrill of the monent often sells more prints on site rather than via CD. you could get $3 per shot (4x6) printed off a small dye-sub printer

Good luck - nice shots - please post more

Thanks for the replies. The second and third images are streched because I cropped them a little bit and messed up during cropping. Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.

Yes - try to fix the images. Also, $2 for an original is waaaaay too cheap. You are giving the parents the right to make all the prints they like for less than what most people charge for a 4x6.

Yes, you can use Wal-mart, but I find that a pro site like smugmug makes it alot simpler.

And about the shots - yes there is a little noise, but otherwise, they're fabulous :D.
