I have some corrupt JPEGs taken with a Toshiba PDR-4300 camera. I'm just curious if anyone here can tell how I might fix them. I have included a typical corrupt file here
as an example. The attached file is exactly as it was recorded to the memory card. I'm not sure if this was caused by the camera or the card.
The picture is still viewable; it's just jumbled around a little, and some of the colors are off. Since the picture is so intact, I'm guessing only a few bits were recorded incorrectly. I think the files could be fixed easily with a hex editor if I knew how to find the corrupt bits.
Does anyone know how I might go about doing this?
