i'm not so happy with the flash does anybody has any tips on flash

I assume you're using the built in flash. The reason that the flash isn't working so well is that the flash is the main light source, but the built in flash isn't powerful enough to work over much distance. Opening up the aperture, and cranking up the ISO setting will help.

The other problem is that it's very hard, directional light, so is causing really hard shadows, there's little you can do with the built in flash to avoid that (although Lumiquest's soft screen http://www.lumiquest.c​om/softscreen.htm (external link) may help), but basically you need to bounce or diffuse the light so that it's not so harsh. This is only really possible with an external flash with a moveable head - something like the Speedlite 430EX. For more guidance on flash, you'll get better answers in the flash and small lighting section.

Cute snapshot.Before I would worry about flash I would worry about compostition. Next time get to her level (Unless you want to portray her from an adults point of view.) Be mindful of the background. Utilize a smaller depth of field by opening the aperture. Raise ISO.
