It looks like they don't allow "professional cameras" at the venue though - even "disposable cameras" are somewhat frowned upon. Bastards. $61+ per ticket, too.

The show tickets go up in price with the stature of the celebrity across the board...ours were approx. $49.+ for premium seating on a mid week day...weekends, as in Thurs. through Sat. are a bit more...To get preferred seating I need to book well in advance and in a timely fashion...

I go to Long Island often, and find that yours and our retail prices are about the same...

As for cameras...we get a little bit of slack...but can't use extended lenses,no flash, and sometimes, depending on the act, the camera shooting time is limited to a couple of songs, or even, no cameras at all...

OH....Saaaandy....(ok, cheap Grease reference).

Nice shots, it is good to see her. So have they found her husband yet? Is he not still "missing" in Mexico somewhere?

I like the spotlight in #5, but would crop a bit from the lower end and right (yust a few mm). That way the dark folds in her jacket are gone, and she has a bit more room 'in front of her' relatively. (If you have a version with a bit more left and bottom, that might be an option as well...)

You got it Rene', did the crop of the clothing shadow...the rest of that particular shadow, were the edges of a custom stage speaker...I had to shoot over the top of the pair of speakers...the stage is already five feet above the floor of the seating area, and these speakers were a good 15 or 16 inches tall, above that...shooting from my seat, in the very front row was a bit tricky...Olivia Newton-John recognized a quality camera and did not hesitate too much, to every so often, step right in front for a few moments...

Thanks for the critique...With the 50mm 1.4 lens and after some trimming...I'm content with the results...In Photo Shop (when I finally get it some day,) I would like to work on the backgrounds some more, and possibly dodge the color saturation in some areas of this set of pics...

Ah, good old Baja, CA...how convenient...evereybod​y from Hollywood hangs out there from time to time...Although longer than Florida, Baja is sparsely populated, with only one main road all the way through...If he was to be found, it would have been Baja...There was no mention of him at all by any one at the show...It's kind of sad to think of that particular situation...

I like #1 the best, it shows how pretty she is, its too bad its hard to catch singers with their eyes open

She is a joy to photograph... I tried to be discrete about it... Here in this section of the Forum, we have some "in-house" rules, like: Dwight McCann's "do not shoot straight up the nose" standard rule of thumb...

Since the stage is about 4' 6" above the seating floor, I was shooting upward from the front row all evening... Open eyes were tough to get...

Sad thing I completely missed her recently. She was in my own town late last year and I saw the billboard and everything...but forgot about it.

Second to last photo of the series, she is pointing at you. "This is the one selling my pictures on Ebay"...

Awesome series. I agree some PP is required, mostly for the wrinkles. The show must have been great though.

Say Mario, you're not saying some one is actually using this photo in marketing on Ebay are you? I haven't authorized any use of these photos to be sold on Ebay...

My Post Processing software is new and I just started using it about a month after I posted these pictures...

You might want to email the fan club coordinators in southern CA...they are on top of things there... She often tours the Reno/Tahoe Casinos and thereafter probably your areas...

Hey, well that's a coincidence... She toured at one of the State Universities near you... I trust she'll be back... lets keep checking her web site for the next tour in the Northeast...
