How about an Evelyn Wood Speed Reading course so you don't ask questions that were already answered in the thread?

A Ruger 10-22? That would certainly upset the mods.

No crop body to put it on. I've got a 17-40 to cover UWA.

Get a Remington Model 700 Police Short Action. It's $750US.
However, you can buy it w/o scope for a $150 credit which brings you to your $600. Naturally, you will then need to mount your 70-200 f/2.8 on it.

Incidentally, what's the tallest building in Waverly again ? A church spire ?

How did Waverly get into this conversation? Will I be sniping from the "tallest tower"?

You're right. It is probably a church. God knows there's enough of them.

Really, why not ask your mommy to give you another $500 so that you can buy yourself a new brick....you know how much you want that lens. Why do you persist in depriving yourself of it.?

You know, KonTiki might have uttered those very same words....you two have so much in common, it would seem.

Well son, there is a whole conversation about the nature of 'deprivation' v's 'non-attachment' but I doubt it's for a thread like this. Essentially, I don't think we have that much in common at all ;) but I am happy to celebrate difference.

Anyway, you talking to me or him?
