Hi there, just joined the forum and before I attempt to reply to anyone elses queries I thought it best to display some of my efforts at photographing motorbikes.

Am I the only one who doesn't see any photos?

EDIT: I took a look on your website, very impressive.

Gaz

Thanks for taking the time to check my website.
I checked that I could see them after I downloaded them, and they still appear for me. Can anyone else see the photos? I added them as an attachment, uploaded them and then added them to the posting.

Tried another attachement. If there is no picture visible please let me know and point me in the right direction (in a friendly fashoin hopefully):)

At 160+mph and he has time to remove a tear-off from his visor.

How easy is it for someone to get to the Isle for the race? It is something I'd love to witness while I'm over in Europe.

Nice pictures. I like the last one with the tearoff.

From the British mainland you have the choice of plane (most large airports) or ferry (Liverpool or Haysham).
The problem is they are very busy during TT fortnight (I had to book next years ferry the week I came back this year) and next year is the Centenary meeting. Once on the island accomodation is hard to find (the population must at least double for the racing) and for next year is not cheap (I am lucky because my brother lives on the island so I get a bed for free). If you are interested in bike racing but not the crowds then why not go the the Isle of Man for the Manx GP (race week in August - runs over the TT course but is more for novices or classic bikes).

I'd recommend going as you do get up close to the racing (it's all on public roads) and they are awesome riders.

Alan,

Many thanks for the tips. Yes, I am into racing and will definitely look into the Manx GP next year. The TT would be the epitome of my short stay in Europe, but from the sounds of things, looks like it will have to wait for another time. I've heard, in general, that accomodations are hard to come by on the Island, and can well imagine that they are already booked for the 100th race.

I envy you with your family connections. ;) Great pics, and please post more from next years race.

Allen

Cheers Canonadian

Allen, maybe see you on the Isle of Man for the Manx GP or the TT in the future.
