Here are a few from the latest match. Kind of settled into a groove with Volleyball and am looking for something to change things up. Probably will try a new lens or something to add some variety to the mix. Anyway.... 1D with an 85 f1.8 shot stopped down to anywhere from 2.0 to 2.4.

Mark,
Once again great shots. Out of interest (mine), have you ever tried to get even tighter, forget about the ball and just get facial expressions. I don't know if it would work but in my minds eye a series on the face of sports would be really interesting.

Nice shots! I tried shooting some volleyball last night, but I only had my 50mm f/1.8 with me and didn't get many good ones. It's nice to see them done right.

Nice series Mark. Beautiful colors. You've got some good light in that arena. Definitely worthy trying some longer lenses from behind the end lines.

Excellent, Mark -- you definitely have some portfolio stuff here! #s 1, 4 and 6 are my favorites -- #4 would even be a great commercial photo for the ball maker or NCAA!

Oh my, these are great. In fact they are one of the best volleyball pics I've seen in this forum.

These are seriously good images! Great angles and action. But I gotta' ask, "Do the girls paint those shorts on?" :-)

Mark,
Your VB shots are great. It is my worst sport to shoot so I am particularly impressed.
