For some reason when I try to open a PDF file from the internet it opens PS and, of course, nothing happens. If I save the file to my desktop and then open it does so correctly with the default program I assigned. This situation seemed to start without action on my part. Is there a way to block PS from being the default program to open PDF files from the internet?

Right click on it and select Open With. When the dialog box opens select Adobe Reader an dtick the box that says "Always use this program to open the files". Mike, The Keeper of the Archive
