I have a Canon PoweShot G3 camera
How do I display a date and time on the photo I'm shoting ?

rpolitsr Cream of the Crop More info | Nov 02, 2006 17:42 | #2 I think it is not possible to ‘burn’ the date in the standard .jpg or RAW file, but if you use the Direct Print Function and have your own compatible printer or use a photo lab with Canon software you can. See your user guide starting at pg. 132 for details. rafael

This is selected on the G2 by going to "Play", then select Print Order and hit the SET button. On the next menu is a selection for Date ON or OFF. If you have the book on the G3 see if you have a section titled "Print Settings (DPOF Settings)"
