Ive seen this question soo many times. Personally, I use the Canon software that came with the Camera to do all my post processing, converting to JPG or TIFF, then sending it over to Photoshop for any additional post processing...

Id like to poll who uses what, and please say why if you have used others.

Keep in mind, this only applies to people who are working with RAW files for the RAW processing portion.

Thanks!!!

i dont have any experience with aperture since i dont use a mac for my imaging, so i cant say anything about it. but i really love the amount of control the photoshop RAW engine gived you, great peice of software. havnt used any RAWs in lightroom yet, but its a program with some real promise.

What about CaptureOne, BreezeBrowser, and even Raw Shooter even though it's going away. Your poll fails to list - in my opinion - the top three RAW converters. (No, I'm not a fan of ACR since I can't stand it's workflow.)

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

You simply don't have enough choices to choose from. To find out what I think you are looking for you need to specify the more popular choices that are available.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I can add more options to the poll,
But of the three above, I would use Canon's own DPP, simply because I have no way to even try Aperture, and don't like ACR.

I know there are other choices, but I was drilling down to the ones I use. I wanted to get an opinion based on the 3 that I have at my disposal.

I use the Canon software to do my work. I didnt even know Lightroom was out, ill have to check that out since I am a huge fan of Adobe software.

Sorry for the skinny down pole.

I really want to give aperture a try. It looks very good. Now I need to re-format my mac since I was moving hard drives around last weekend.

Too many missing options in your poll.

I use DxO for all of my RAW processing.

Tried: ACR, RSE, DPP, & DxO

None compare to C1 Pro for Me
