Absolutely, William Castleman is the one. Once he gets hold of a 50/1.2, that is! I think he is going to get one when they actually hit market. I look forward to the test!

Tommy, it almost feels like Canon have run into a SNAFU with the lens.....I know they said it was going to be November.....but even major retailers do not seem to have any delivery date promise.....furthermor​e Canon Canada is also all mum about it.:confused:

I think you got me wrong. Im not questioning the photographer. What im getting at is im looking forward to seeing it in an average low light condition , not a super good one and not a super bad one. Theres a few thread knocking about where the 50 1.4 is put through its paces and the flaws are very obviously exsposed but in situations where the lens is really not likely to be used. In the conditions that that test was conducted the pics i saw are not usable. I guess im still waiting to see this lens produce stuff that if i took id like to print..
