I am sure you can tell from these pictures that I don't know much about portrait photography. I haven't done any before so I am just going by instinct. I haven't done any PS post-processing yet (besides cropping) and I have RAW images of all the pictures.

My Neices asked if I could do a portrait of them as a christmas gift for their parents. They would like to get it enlarged and framed as a christmas gift.

Which picture do you like best?

I would appreciate any CC.

I like the first one, the twig in the second is a bit distracting, although it could probably be cloned out.

Those berries look familiar.. I took some pics of some of those about a week ago.

I like the first one too! Great job! I think the second one makes the skin tones appear a little washed out. The composition of that one is nice though.

You don't have 'allow image editing' turned on, would it be okay if I edited that second one to show you what it would look like without the twig, and with a little tone adjustment?

Okay, luckily I put the edited version on my thumb drive and brought it to work with me.

I just did a quick cloning out of the twig, and I cloned out a little white spot on the top girls hair and one on the scarf (looks like some other stuff there I could have fixed as well, but it was getting late). I adjusted the levels a bit to darken it up some. Not perfect but you can get the general idea.
