as the title suggests, which lens is better

the Tamron http://www.cameraworld.co.uk …AT_CODE=2&SUBCAT_CODE=204 (external link)

or the Sigma http://www.cameraworld.co.uk …AT_CODE=2&SUBCAT_CODE=204 (external link)

Cheers

I got Sigma one before and sold it, it was nice good lens, i don't know about Tamron one.
but for what do you need one of those lenses?
You can look at 70-200 as it is much better than you posted.

If used with a tripod, those lenses are not too bad. But my feeling is you get what you pay for. If you are just wanting a long lens, be prepared for pictures not so sharp for fast action. But I bought the 80-200 when I got my Rebel G and it was fine for a while. Then I didn't consider another tele until 70-200 f4, which is around $700 US, but is a favorite lens of a lot of folks here.

Yeah, 70-200L f/4 and perhaps the 1.4TC if you want more reach.
