Yesterday was quite windy. So I went to the lakeshore (lake Geneva) and snapped a few pictures o fthe Mont-Blanc with the lake in the foreground. Notice the snow drifting from the top of the mountain...

As usual, C&C welcome.

Nice shots but i think that will be fine if you make some PP, especially in the first one. I looks a little washed out in my monitor.

Cheers

Some great shots, but there appears to be some dust in shots 1 and 3. Maybe increase the contrast slighty in Photoshop with a curves layer.

Thanks for looking...

On #1 there is a gull above the mountain and on #3 the spots in the lower right corner are water droplets fron the waves crashing on the shore. But they may be some real dusts (I have seen some on shots at f22 or higher )

As for PP, i only have PS elements and didn't find any curve plugin working on Mac. But if you have time, feel free to do it and post the result ;)

Ive tried to edit the pic DDA but there is a huge lack on information on the jpg. Very narrow pixels on the histogram.

Yes, I don't know why the histogram is so narrow. Do you know where it could come from? What did I do wrong?

Im not very smart with those things, but seems like its a fog or something in the ambient. Its the same on the other pics. The histogram shows only midtones. Ive been with this situations wen i take photos trough a huge mass of water with the sun in the back. Maybe it was a mistake with the metering. Im not sure. Sorry, i cant explain you.:(

#2, and #3 are good looking shots but try cloning out whatever that is at the far right.

Thanks Dimitri! What is the "skuffold"? #1 was taken from the same place, with a longer zoom...

Thanks Frank! I didn't notice this boat's mast. But you're right, I should clone it out ;-)a
