So I was thinking to myself my poor Digital Rebel just doesn't have enough megapixels for my liking. In fact I had a look at the Canon line-up, and honestly, not a single camera has enough megapixels. I mean, unless I can do a building sized blowup of my photographs then the camera just isn't good enough for me. Thinking about saving up for one of these badboys:

Mind you I might have to sell my car, and maybe my gf's car.... then get a loan too!

I just wish it came in a model with more than 39 megapixels. :p

Be sure to post a 1000% crop from that....I heard there is a lot of noise if you don't use an L and a million dollar tripod.;)

The need for the camera? Yes a joke. The camera itself? Not a joke, it's the real deal. Imagine, the ability to do a print of 18x24 inches at 300dpi!

Sensor size: 39 Mpixels (5412 • 7212 pixels)

Yeah, after investing that much in the camera, you don't wanna skimp on the lensing or accessories that's for sure.

Be sure to pick up the latest Ken Rockwell user guide too....can't have you using such a fine piece of gear in an improper manner.

Thanks for the great advice and link. I did look at it, and got this H3D at www.amazon.com (external link) . Since the Hasselbad back I already had would not work, I got the 39Mpixel one. The problem is, I ran out of money, so I am shooting it with the Canon lens adapter, and the 18-55mm kit lens.

The board of directors will be mad when they see one of their accounts tapped on, but I just had to have this camera. I am gonna take photos tomorrow of my kid sister's neighbors friends birthday party, and I hope they turn out good.

Anyone know if I can attach the Sigma flash to this one camera? I am saving for it, but at $150 it will have to wait a bit.

;)

nope.. he didn't get it... but, it was good!! I do think our buddy Ken is more of a Notel shooter anyway... not enough saturation in the holiday Inn's...

Well the 18-55mm should do you for now. I highly recomment picking up a 50 f/1.8 as your next lens. For the price it's a great lens, should be super sharp! :P
