High School Basketball

Late in the season last year I shot some pictures of high school basketball. They had a yellowish tint to them. If I change the awb to white fluorescent light will that get the color back to normal? I'm guessing the gym has fluorescent lights.

Try Custom White balance. Place a couple of coffee filters over the lens and take a shot aiming at the court. Use that image for the custom WB. You will be very pleased with the result.

or shoot in RAW and fix it with post processing :)

Custome white balance is much more consistent than "fixing" in photoshop.
Take it right the first time.

Hope the OP has figured it out in in the three + years since he first posted. :)

I tried custom white balance at my son's BB game recently and was very pleased with the results. No more funky colors.
