UK users...don't forget to alter your time settings

As UK users will know, we reverted to GMT Standard time last Sunday.

I've noticed on a few posts that the time of shooting stated in the post does not match the exif data. (How nice would it be to be able to get a sunrise at 08:25am? )

Don't forget to put your time setting back one hour on your cameras!
It's the one device in the household I forgot to alter too and an easy one to overlook

Consult your user manual on 'how to' but on the 350d, it's the the first orange settings icon and about half way down under 'Time & Date'

First thing I changed last Sunday - How sad is that!

I'm sure there are loads of people who never changed it back in the Spring, so they won't have to bother

I remembered to update the time on my 350D. It was the first time I've had to, since I didn't have it back in March. That makes 28 devices in my house with clocks to be updated twice a year. So last Sunday we gained an hour, and I spent that hour going round changing clocks. But it gets worse - in March we lose an hour and I still have to spend an hour changing the clocks!

I think they are hidden, along with the volume control

I'm refusing to switch to GMT Standard this year - its pointless anyway.
