Is it possible to use the 5D grip on the 30D? The 5D's ones fits better as it was made specially for it. The 30D's looks like a toy.
Regards.
Daniel

The thread would work, but I doubt that the battery compartment insert would line up with that on the body. Mac users swear by their computers. PC users swear at theirs.

It would be nice, since they do use the same battery. But they find a way to make some extra bucks. i have the 20, also have the 5D with grip. It doesn't fit trust me Canon 5D Mark II (x2), 30D, 40D, G10, 70-200 F4 IS (x2), 16-35 f2.8 L, 50mm 1.4, 430 EX II (x2), 580 EX II Tamron 28-75 F2.8 (x2), Tonkia 12-24 F4, 10-18 Fisheye, Full studio with some light

It's called the BG-E2. Same thing the 20D takes. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here

Haven't actually seen the 5D with its grip though. Probably a similiar fit. The XT's kinda sucks too as far as being an obvious add-on. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here
