Both shots were taken last year and for whatever reason I never processed them.

The first is of Castle Crag, Borrowdale and the second is reflections in the River Derwent just below Castle Crag - it was approximately 3:00 - 3:30ish and note the frost still under the trees!

Almost a year ago.
Tempus fugit.

Both nice shots and well composed.
You've managed to capture some detail in the shadows of the second image without blowing out the sky.
I think I prefer the first image.
Using the wall as a lead in has worked well.
The overall exposure is spot on, as usual.

Nice shots, David.

Let's hope for similar weather this year.:)

Thanks Cameron,
"Time does flee!" ;) but we certainly got some good shots those two days - a few more clouds would be nice this time!:D

That's more like it. 2 lovely images. :D Well exposed and nicely composed. Both lead the eye nicely and the reflections are very clear.
Good stuff 'OB'!

Lovely shots David. I particularly like the first with the stone wall leading up the slope. Thanks for sharing.

Nice photos David _ the second I like best and on my monitor appears it could use just a touch contrast adjustment.
