I love 'em!
Nicely done!
What sort of flash bouncer/diffuser are you using?

Haha thanks =) These were taken with my rebel (last shots with her), ISO400ish, nifty fifty@f/2.8. I think FEC was left at 0, flash shot vertically but with a bounce card.

I keep telling people that this simple approach works as well as the $50 tupperware attachments. The shadows in #2 prove you can throw a fair amount of light forward with a bounce card.

That's very true. I was pretty happy with my results, though the enviroment was pretty well lit... I flashed them just in case =) Wasn't too sure if it was doing much.

Anyway I'm kinda unhappy with the bright spots on number 2. Should I have dialed FEC down a little?

And I misfocused on number 1. Ah well. They were just snaps and printed out I could hardly notice =)

Do you mean the girl's shiny cheek and forehead? That's related to the location and size of the light source, and how oily her skin is. Less FEC would just make it underexposed and the bright spots would still be there.

Of me in my uniform? It's bad enough I *have* to wear it. They're the most unflattering pieces of clothing ever made. No pictures. Hopefully ever......
