Well for all who live in Australia and were going to buy a 400D and 24-105 f/4L at Christmas time anyway... I just went onto Canon Australias website and they have a $500 rebate on this lense when buying any EOS DSLR!

I will have the funds at Christmas, so it suits me perfectly :D

I would have been shattered if I had bought the exact same combo a couple of weeks ago...

Has anyone ever just missed out on a rebate before?

There's no rebate on 400D here in the US :(

I just missed out on the $100 350D rebate by like 2 days... I wasnt a happy camper :lol:

I get no rebates. But I buy my gear used so it doesnt matter I guess.
