okay so it's a goose ;) .

i went downtown first today. it was mostly overcast and about an hour before sunset i went to the park.

i also own the f4 non-IS and it's still too early to tell which is sharper @ f4, which isn't a slight to either lens. bokeh seems at least equal.

this picture shows the real advantage of IS. it was shot @ 70mm, F11, iso 100 and 1/25th, and was handheld like all the pics in the sample gallery.

Great photos. What is that little dot in your photo though?

thanx Toney -- remember those are test shots mostly at iso 100 and f4 and in poor or late day light.
