Nice picture....it kind og creeps me out though.

Thankfully it is to dry where I live to have fleas, but one time the dog picked some up form the valley. We just used frontlline and they went away..;)

Awesome shot!!!

*scratches* I'm assuming you got Frontline from the vets. Expensive stuff eh?

It was Frontline and was expensive but it did the trick I haven't been bitten for ages now, kind of miss them

You're brave! This is a great capture ;) I don't see a lot of flea shots here. The only other one I saw was posted by BE last year (if my memory serves ;) ).

Thanks brave huh, mad more like, I look at that pic now and...... that thing was so full my blood was coming out of its bottom! So I am currently the POTN official flea photographer

Talk to your vet about FRONTLINE. It's a flea and tick control product that really works. Beats the collars and powders hands down. Living with 3 cats and 2 dogs in the southern US, I used to have a flea problem every summer. Here's a link to the company's website (and no, I don't work for them -- I'm just a very satisfied customer):

Thanks it looks like Frontline is global, I am in UK and what our vets recommended and your right flea collars are a waste of money.

hay did my flea get out of my post :D

anyhoo nice shot

i use johnson's 4fleas tablets they work so fast 1 tab and in 10 minutes the fleas are droping off the cat dead

Thanks, unfortunately the eggs were all over the place and so they kept hatching which was the biggest problem, cats were fine nothing lived on them

Ahhh the joys of where I live in wild wet and windy West Yorkshire, where mould, slugs and parasites happily breed....... well not all the time :)

Yeah. Scary in a perverse sort of way.
