Collecting EXIF from multiple directories

Does anyone know if there is a free program that can scan a disk and collect all the EXIF data from CR2, TIFF, JPEG image files then write that information into one CSV text file? I've tried Breeze Browser Pro but it can only do one directory at a time and that will take me forever.

I have not seen a utility like you are requesting. If you come across one, please let us know. It sounds like it would be very handy.

There's a thing called Exiftool which can pretty much do anything.

Be aware, though, that it's not for the faint hearted, as it is written in a scripting language called Perl and is command line only.

If you're running Linux it will work right out of the box, as Perl is pretty much standard on any Linux system.
It is possible to install Perl on Windows, but expect some fidlling around.
