I am not a pro but have heard others speak of losing some sharpness during the conversion/resize. I love the first pic just wish the fabric or what ever it is was not right in front of her mouth. Beautiful model though and nice job. I'm also surprized about the softness. Yes, they do. To check it out resize an image to web size and then click on 'sharpen' or 'sharpen edges', the image will seem to pop back into focus. I find that sharpen edges does a good job on most resized images, but you may prefer to use unsharp mask which is more controllable, if a little slower.

I only see one which is her ring that is not in focus and never was. So processing did nothing to deteriate the focus on it. Watch your depth on foreground. Background can go out with no problems. D. Resizing is always a sharpness killer. I generally apply USM with a small radius (around 0.5) after resizing for web use. "If you're not having fun, your pictures will reflect that." - Joe McNally

Nov 06, 2006 09:11 | #9 These are great shots #1 is my fav, #2 looks like she is tired a little slumped over, maybe a different and more relaxed pose would help. Softness is OK, if that is your style. Good job overall.
