Hi

I liked mostly number 1 - the low shot angel, the expression on his face and the BW scale.
2 - he is on his back and quite far away.
3 - Great profile shot. I would have also considered to wait for a look from him and shot again.
4 - is distance. The subjects are centralized in the frame.

Thanks for the constructive feedback.

I agree about number 4, problem was I didn't know mum was going to do it so I just had to shoot quick. I'd already decided a better crop might make it look better.

I kind of like number 2, even though she has her back to me.

I think this portrait crop made this one a lot better:

Thank you. I know what you mean about the legs, groan... I was discussing the posibility of removing them with our graphic designer at work today. I need to bury my head in my PS book for a while.

You could do it pretty easily. Duplicate the layer. (that way you do not accidently mess th orig up) Click on rubber stamp (clone tool) or healing brush and hold alt and click in a pattern that would be best to cover the legs with. then paint patern on the legs.

Great series. I particularly like the first image, even with the legs. My family went to the park this past weekend as well, all I need to do is process the shots.:)

I like the 1st image. The only things I'd like to see changed is the muddy contrast. It will look really good if the contrast is worked on.

Quick go at "No Legs" + a bit more contrast, thanks for all the positive feedback BTW:
